ResMeds Over Titrating.

Post by DreamDragonZzZ » Mon Dec 01, 2014 2:31 pm

Has anyone had a problem with ResMed S9 and/or S10 over titrating patients or yourself. My ICON and SysOne have me at 15cm. My ResMeds have me at 19cm. I slept like crap though AHI and everything else reported fine. Curious...

I guess we don't need to ask if you have your settings correct.
DreamDragonZzZ wrote:1st Check EPR settings.
2nd Check if set for correct tubing type.
3rd Check to make sure its set for correct mask type. This is a common mistake and the PAP will act diff.

You have an Icon, a System One, an S9 and an S110? What did your sleep study say?

I think you're comparing "apples, oranges and pears".
You don't sleep the same every night......each manufacturer has their own algorithms......we have absolutely no idea what your settings are......or have representative reports from any of them to look at.

With any Auto machine, you need to establish a reasonable pressure range.......that isn't too low on the minimum side or too high on the maximum side. Wide open settings are asking for trouble.
