smoking heated tubing

Hello,

I finally received my heated tubing that I ordered because I find the nasal pillows to be too cold with ordinary tubing. The first day or two it worked great but then it started having this terrible smoking smell. No one smokes in our house, it is the machine. The higher the setting for the heating/humidifying the more the smoking occurs. I feel like I'm smoking a cigarette all night . Anyone have any ideas/ suggestions? Thank you!

I notice that when my humidifier runs out of water or the first few days with a new hose. You might turn your machine on during the day and let it run for a couple of hours to see if that will "air" out the new hose.

If its a plastic like smell then its the new hose fumes
