Has anyone here tried Provent and if so would you recommend it?

If you have severe sinusitus as you mentioned in your thread about masks, this is not for you since it requires that your breathe through your nose.

I tried Provent prior to being diagnosed, and found it to be useless. I woke up gasping for air every time; not sure how they claim it 'help's sleep apnea if you can't breathe with it on

I suspect many more have tried it than use it.

UK/Swiss Sleep Clinic Study says no difference between Provent and Provent placebo. Small sample group (67) but followed a reasonably scientific track. By reasonably scientific I mean it had some questionable wording e.g. "partially blind test". Don''t know how a test can be partially blind.
Conclusions Provent cannot be recommended as an alternative short-term therapy for patients with moderate to severe OSA already on CPAP.
