So my first night with the Resmed Adapt ASV went well. I expected my AHI to be lower, thanks to the tip from Pugsy, but I didn't expect it to be this low! The nicest thing was that I don't remember waking up even once through the night, which is a first. I also got almost 8 hours, which is practically a world record. The only downer is that I decided to try out the Quattro mask (the one with the forehead turn knob) and now I look like I just got a nose job from a black market "plastic surgeon". Not pretty - the bridge between the eyes is so swollen that my face is fully distorted. Lesson learned there. I'm sticking with my Liberty Hybrid that doesn't leave any weird marks on my face.
I do still feel a little tired, but I'm catching up on years of poor sleep, so I'm not too upset by that. I am really glad that I seem to be responding to the ASV therapy; I had been starting to lose hope. Now to conquer the aerophagia. Thans to everyone for the input - it has really helped me along this journey, which I know is still only beginning. Now I can go fill in my machine info in my signature bar - I feel pretty confident that I'll stick with the Resmed if these good nights continue...

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

Welcome to the wonderful world of the VPAP Adapt users. I think there's a lot of us. I went from the S9 Autoset to the S9 VPAP Auto, to the Respironics 950 AVS, and finally to the Adapt. None of them controlled me until the Adapt. I now achieve 0.0 AHI more often than not, and I'm a very happy camper. I hope you continue to have success with your Adapt!
