Aloha Pillows sounds like a harmonica!

Post by gary1001 » Fri Nov 07, 2014 3:37 am

At 3am this morning, my Aloha Nasal Pillows started making a terribly loud whining noise! It appears to be coming from the elbow however I can't really track it down. I've tried washing / drying which helps, but returns in 20mins once it fogs.

Anyone else had this issue or hints to fix? Its sooo bloody loud it keeps me awake and its going to be a week before I can track down a replacement.

Just to broaden the question, has anyone experienced a mask when fitted properly developing a whistle? Man, its really disrupting my sleep and are keen to hear comments before I end up covering this thing in duck tape

just don't cover the vents with duct tape.

usually squealing noises are from the mask/face interface, not elsewhere in the mask assembly.

I've had 3 Aloha's now and no less than 6 sets of pillows and have never has this happen. Call the manufacturer and have them walk you through whatever fix or replacement you need.
