Mod for the F10

I really like the F10 except for one thing--the circular vent. It blows air on my face all night which makes me think the mask is leaking. I thought I'd try to redirect the air down and away from my face. I cut the neck and "shoulders" out of an empty distilled water gallon jug. I then sliced a third out of this piece and trimmed down the threaded part of the opening. I taped it just above the circular vent so that it doesn't block the vent holes. I think this will do the trick!

Sometimes it makes you wonder if they get a bonus for inflicting random misery.

Does the elbow with the vent hole rotate so that the air can be redirected away from you?

The hole on the elbow is the anti-asphyxia valve. The ring of small holes around the elbow are the vent holes, so no, they can't be redirected away from your face.

That's a really clever mod.
I stopped using a Mirage FX mask because the very same circle of vents was blowing air in my eyes.
What were they thinking?

Well, since we all use distilled water and have jug after jug to dispose of, you have nothing to lose by trying this mod. I have used it for the past 2 nights, and it works perfectly! You might like your mask again!

I reuse the jugs I bought to fill with the water I distill.
Venting on the P10 is awesome! And, sadly, quite rare.
ResMed should use this concept on as many masks as possible.
Other companies need to step up and be creative--there are many ways to skin this cat.
It's time we saw some real effort!
