CPAP.COM very helpful!

Post by HusbandHasApnea » Tue Oct 07, 2014 2:53 pm

ETA: Sorry for this, all worked out well. It was a horrible day for me and I broke too easily. Not cpap.com's fault.

I hope the owners see this message. I have been struggling for days trying to get my husband the machine he needs, you can see my other post.

I just had the worst experience in the world with cpap.com and not only will they NEVER EVER have my business again, I am filing a complaint with the BBB.

Taking an order from someone, APPROVING a prescription, taking $1000 from them and assuring them of next day delivery, and then later in the day AFTER THE DOCTORS OFFICES CLOSE deciding to reject a perfectly valid prescription! Keeping our money, it is too late in the day to reach the doctor's office, it would not matter anyway because THAT IS THE PRESCRIPTION AND IT WAS HELL TO GET FROM THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE.

And how do they cancel the order? AN EMAIL. Too bad for you, so sad. Buh bye.

CPAP.COM YOU SUCK! And I will be sure the BBB knows it. And because of your negligence, you better damn hope my husband does not have a heart attack in his sleep, with the time you cost us with your negligence.

I do NOT want PMs from anyone here, I will not be coming back here. What a collossal waste of time. Truly unbelievable!!!!!

Did they give a reason for the rejection?

Reading between the lines.......
It sounds like the doctor's office messed this one up. And, now CPAP.COM is getting the blame.
Too many "holes" in this plot.

Venting is helpful for most people...however, when you're done with that and have calmed down a bit, you need to find out why they rejected your prescription. I can see both sides of this, cpap.com is legally required to have a valid prescription, and yet they had apparently accepted yours and were ready to ship you a machine. I'm sure that if you called them up (cpap.com is pretty responsive) they would tell you exactly what you need to do on the prescription side to get this rolling, they only stand to make money if they can sell you a machine.

Sorry that this was so stressful for you. I'm sure that you can work it out. And I fervently hope that there are no heart attacks by morning.

Ditto what Roger said. There must be a reason cpap.com discovered that they could not accept the script as written. They gain nothing by declining a sale. I encourage the OP to PM Johnny or Carolyn (Goodmans, the owners) for help getting this straightened out. I have no doubt they will come through. They always do.

Now….now....Halo….buddy; you know this is an employee from CPAP.COM hoping you will all defend CPAP.COM. I see from their website that they have a lot of new products to sell.

I'm not defending them, so much as I am decrying the unsubstantiated rant that some angry person chose to make here.

I've been thinking there could be some other possibilities here.
I won't throw them out here, but they may be self-evident to you, too.
