How to Pimp My Cpap lol
How to Pimp My Cpap lol
ok, no judgement, but I think id like to decorate my machine with a vinyl cover I had no clue such thing existed until today when i searched for ways to cover (decorate, not hide) the ugly beast. I know its not suppose to be CUTE but i like the idea to put a skin on it, makes it less intimadating for me and if im going to embrace it as my new bedtime partner, might as well find him cute
Anyone know where we can buy these in Canada?
Seems skinit doesnt do them for my Remstar System one. Too bad when googling I found so many cute ones!
thanks in advance.
Only one i found was this:
http://www.cpapbatterystore.com/pink-di ... cpap-skin/ and I find it ugly.

The only skins I have seen for the System One machines are at the cpapbatterystore.
Choice between ugly and uglier I am afraid. Not the cool stuff that skinit.com offers for the S9.
Green camo, burl wood, diamond and the pink camo above

I'm not sure about an actual cover, but if you know someone that has a Cricut, you could have them cut out some vinyl and it would stick to your machine. We have used vinyl to decorate a bike helmet, travel coffee mugs, and many other things. If you don't know anyone who has one, you might check on Etsy for vinyl stickers or decorations. Hope that helps!Saya wrote:ok, no judgement, but I think id like to decorate my machine with a vinyl cover I had no clue such thing existed until today when i searched for ways to cover (decorate, not hide) the ugly beast. What a fun idea that I never would have thought of. I am digging the Diamond Plate.

I'm too cheap to blow $45 to pretty up my machine...I bought a breast cancer awareness sticker for my truck, and besides the main sticker, there were a couple smallish ones that I had to cut out. These I stuck to my PR.
If you're cheap like this...it's not a bad option. vinyl stickers meant for cars are an option.

Some of us are to cheap to pretty up an object that generaly resides in the dark while we mostly have our eyes closed.
Now if you generaly use yours in the living room AND entertain guests frequently, I can see the need.

What about contact paper? That comes in a pretty good variety of patterns. I think I've even seen some Martha Stewart designs.

A decent seamstress could make a cover for it. Just think of all the design options you would have, with the many fabric designs available.
Like some of the other posters said, I can’t really see what difference it makes in the dark when you’re sleeping. Except maybe if you have a studio apartment and anybody who comes to visit will see it. In that situation I would probably opt for a nightstand with a drawer or door for storage and you kept in there.

How about getting a Bedazzler and Bedazzling it? I think they have them at Walmart here in Canada.

Mine is already "camouflaged".......its charcoal (almost black) color keeps it hidden in the dark bedroom. Only the barely visible light green lighted buttons on top give away its location. When my eyes are closed, I don't see anything, anyway. I think I'll save my money. And, besides, these "skins" won't fit mine.

If you have a better half, not sure what gender N/A is but if you do what skin are you going to cover them in. Jim

I'm thinking someone should pitch the subject of this thread to TLC for their next reality show.

Re: How to Pimp My Cpap lol
Some things are just better left undone. Alas, the S9 is really the only one that decent skins are manufactured for. For the PRs, adding things would only just draw even more attention to its comparative ugliness (and I have one so I know). If anything, better to design a nice box or something to hide it in.... (which could cause its own host of problems). If you want a better looking machine, at least the new S10 seems to have improved in the esthetics department. Not much else, but at least it looks better.
