Can you turn off the AHI and mask pressure graphs (Preferences/graphs tab and remove checkmark) so that we can see the regular pressure graph and leak graphs instead?

I just checked John's member profile. It says he visited the forum today. For some reason he has been quiet and not posting much but looks like he is still visiting...so that's good.

I asked about the "how are you feeling and sleeping" because the report looks a bit cluttered with snores and hyponeas.
Assuming the hyponeas are obstructive that normally means the EPAP is not quite optimal. Not holding the airway open quite well enough. You can see once you get to sleep the EPAP goes up and stays up so the machine is trying hard. If we were seeing EPAP drop to the minimum we might increase it but it's not dropping all that often so it isn't spending much time at 6ish EPAP.
If you had reported that you were sleeping great and feeling great then I probably wouldn't look so closely at those snores.

Leak line is fine so there's no worries there.

Wonder how much of this is related to sleeping position? Do you spend much time on your back? Switch around a lot?

Your graphs look a lot like mine. Lots of Hypopneas and VS reported.
Your leak line look pretty good. I checked the leak graph in the Quattro manual and you numbers look well within the predicted range.

Do you have ramp turned on? It looks as if it is set for 15 minutes or so. Do you need it to be on? Otherwise, I'd turn that off.

What is your EPAP min pressure? Your pressure support?
You are getting about 2 obstructives per hour and a small increase in EPAP min will likely eliminate those entirely.
The CA's are what this machine is for and you won't likely get rid of them.
Because this is an ASV machine, I would recommend having a chat with your sleep doctor before making any changes in settings. Bring the SleepyHead reports along with you. My doc's prefer the Encore reports so you might see if you can get that and use it for a week or two to have along so the docs can see the reported data is almost identical.

Are you having instances of waking up at night? I do that and for a while, I just turned off the machine and then turned it back on right away. This creates a sleep session log and shows you when and for how long. Its useful information to get for a week or so just to look at trends.

Do you have a SpO2 meter that can record? Perhaps keeping track for a week every night will tell something. If you are having extended times below 92%, its time to talk to your doctor to get another opinion about the efficacy of your treatment. I've been tracking my SpO2 levels for 6 weeks now and will continue until the end of this month. When I see my sleep doctor next, we'll have a chat about what I am seeing.

The only other suggestion is to get a soft cervical collar which will help with jaw drop and get your leaks even lower - they are really low right now so this is not a big issue. Chin straps are not the way to go with a FFM as they cause additional obstructive apneas by moving the jaw back just slightly. Collars, on the other hand, don't.

i said the same thing but the new doc says they don't concern themselves with that...i don'y understand that and it was not the first time
the old doc told me there is nothing more he can do and the new sleep doc and my regular agreed on a stimulant so i am trying that but am still tired

i wanted to try and adjust the pressures but they said no and i am doing ok as they like what they see

i don't understand but ....

might be sleeping ok but i don't like the feeling of being tired and taking pills

i spend most of the night on my back , try my sides and have been ending up in odd positions as compared to where i started

they run the encore report there and i bring everything with , always prepared
the last visit was " i'll see you in 6 mos not 3 because you are doing good , send me info in 3 mos"
i want to do a change to see if it helps because of being tired

no i don't have a meter and was thinking of getting one , any suggestions send them over

i have the collar , the leaks i don't understand at all , the machine says none , i don't feel any and its a full face mask , so what do you see and what should i do ??

only had 1 or 2 issues ,waking up at night, in months so i would say that is not an issue

the doc i am seeing now is at jefferson in philly and was told he is top doc in the country ....has to be better than the one i was going to , that was unreal

kept asking for advice and got nowhere , and the dme company you could forget
