I've been calling a few different accredited suppliers re. the machines they stock here in Ontario, and also if they recommend one over the other. A couple of places I called seemed to think that the Airsense 10 Elite was the best option for a CPAP machine with full data tracking, but one other place I called said they have heard mixed reviews as it's a new model so perhaps has some kinks they are working out.
I wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts on this.
My only other options for a CPAP machine (due to the way our gov't subsidized programs work here in Ontario) is the:
F&P Icon Premo
Respironics – Pro 60

Re: Airsense 10 Elite Reviews?
The AirSense line was released in late August of last year. We have several forum members here using either the Elite or one of the AutoSet models. Complaints have been minimal from what I have seen and nothing that points to anything more than maybe a rare oddity or the simple fact that there are always some people that aren't happy no matter what.
We have a few veteran forum members who were long time ResMed users (the prior models) and I think almost all of those people have been very pleased.
Forum member ChunkyFrog for sure...she loves hers. You might look through some of her old posts and see what she has said.
I know that I have no problem recommending that people buy the AirSense models...problems have been extremely rare at least from what I have read on the forum. If I was in the mood for a new machine and one came up that suited my needs I wouldn't hesitate to buy one.
The main drawback..it doesn't have apap mode capabilities...and that may not even be something you would need or want. Not everyone needs apap and not everyone even likes apap.
Of the other 2 choices...Avoid the F & P Icon Premo but the PR S1 60 Series Pro CPAP is a good machine, full data and it does have limited apap mode capabilities.
I have owned both brands...the Respironics PR S1 models and I have owned a couple of ResMed S9 models (the model that the AirSense replaced) and in general I found it pretty much to be a toss up...each had very minor pros and cons but none that were deal makers or deal breakers.
Should you happen to end up needing pressures in the teens...I think you will like ResMed's form of exhale relief a little better though. It's a little more dramatic and it offers a little bit more reduction in exhale than you can get with Respironics exhale relief.
The relief is more apparent at the higher pressures but might also be useful if you had difficulty at what we consider lower pressures.
For me 8 cm pressure is really nothing...but for others they swear they are in the middle of a wind tunnel.

Thanks so much!
I'm going tomorrow to talk to the RT at one of the vendor places and get a test machine. Keeping my fingers crossed it will help.
