I started out five years ago with a nice Respironics 750 AutoBiPap machine. The I got a really nice Respironics Auto BiPap ASV 960 machine.
Last night I now seem to have a really expensive single pressure CPAP. About 1:00 AM the alarm on my 960 went off and wouldn't reset. Finally I turned it off and got up, waited an hour or so, and masked up again.
This morning I looked at the data. First half looks like normal, ASV data. Second half looks just normal for a single pressure cpap with the pressure line flat at 14.5 CmH2O. No variation in pressure at all, no change betwee EPAP and IPAP.
Unfortunately the wave and SpO2 data are missing, just the detail page.
As I said, I think I have a really expensive straight CPAP

Re: My Really Expensive Fixed Pressure CPAP
I sure hope my 960 doesn't find out about yours. Mine was replaced about 6 months ago and is working OK.
But a couple nights ago either my Wisp mask started leaking causing the 960 pressure to run away, or the 960 pressure ran away causing the Wisp to leak. I am not sure which. I swapped out the cushion on the Wisp and everything went back to normal at about 2 AM.

Re: My Really Expensive Fixed Pressure CPAP
The PR series 950 autoSVs were supposed to be problematic according to many members and then most everybody agreed that the updated 960 models fixed most of the problems, especially related to the 950's humidifier issues. Hope this isn't a sign that the 960's are showing problems. MIne is only a year old, so still under warranty for another year.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
Re: My Really Expensive Fixed Pressure CPAP
I hope I don't have this happen to me when I pick up my machine tomorrow
Re: My Really Expensive Fixed Pressure CPAP
On advice from Accurate Biomed, I used my machine for another night.
All went well, no error codes, ASV performance as expected.
If it happens again, I'll send it off and get it fixed/replaced. Right now all is well.
