teeth or jaw allignment

Post by haynow2b » Wed Aug 02, 2006 8:15 pm

I just read a post by jeepdoctor and someone made a comment about there being alot of discussion on this site about folks having problems w/ their jaws & or teeth. i just started using the Hybrid f/f mask & it has been a great thing but the last couple of day's I have been having some discomfort w/ my upper bridge, feels like it is getting loose. A bridge on the lower from time to time the bite is off & I have teeth hitting that never did b4. Is there something that can be done about this? Didn't have this problem w/ the swift N/P but I couldn't keep my mouth shut. Any ideas greatly appreicated!

Maybe you need to have the mouth cut-out sitting a little higher above your top lip? Perhaps, you could try positioning it higher before you slip your chin into the fitting?
I kinda follow a 3 step process when I put on my Hybrid,
1- adjust to nares 2-adjust high above top lip 3-place chin into fitting.

You also might want to try a different variation of the mouthpieces and/or nasal pillows in order to gain a more suitable alignment.
