Rain Rain-Out Went Away!

Post by Luthie2006 » Tue Mar 24, 2015 11:48 am

To all who have helped me with the "rain-out" issue coming into my nasal pillows. I very much appreciate all suggestions. I exchanged the humidifier (luckily still under warrantee) with my DME, and the new one seems to be perfect, at least no rain-out wise. It was pre-set to 75 degrees at 2.3 humidity level, and as of yet have not experienced any water. So I think I must have had a defective humidifier.
Also, I tried "O" rings on my Airfit P10 nasal pillows and I felt they were too "hard" against my nose, so I will stick without it. I bought a new Pursesome ruby chin-strap and like it very much, but it is leaving marks on my cheeks from laying against it on my pillow. Does anyone have suggestions how to not have strap marks on my face? Perhaps stuff a wedge of something underneath each side of the strap? Thank you very much

Good to hear that the issue is resolved. Makes me wonder what on the humidifier wasn't working properly...obviously it was something. I found it really odd that you had so much rain out at settings that shouldn't have been giving you rain out unless you were living/sleeping in a refrigerator.
