Problems with my RemStar

Post by Pooh105 » Wed Aug 02, 2006 6:48 pm

Evening All!

I own a Resprionics RemStar that started a problem yesterday. There is a hourly counter on the unit that measures the total time I use the machine. This is in conjunction with another meter that shows how many nights of >+ 4 hours I have. My problem is this...the clock has stopped working. I had the unit on last night for over 5 hours straight and the clock said I only had it on for 0.1 hours (267.4 to 267.5)!?!?! I followed the manual and everything is set fine. I reset the clock to 0 took a 2 hour nap this afternoon and only showed another 0.1 time elasped.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so how did you fix it?

Thanks,

Pooh

Also for information, my pressure on the Auto C-Flex varies from 10 to 20. Yeah know it's high but I'm a BIG guy! LOL

Thanks,

Pooh

you are almost on the same pressures as me, although i'm at 12-20, anyways, i would take the machine back to the dme's office and have them send it in to get it checked out by respironics. obviously there is something wrong, and if you have it out on insurance they could ding you on the compliance if the machine is not recording the hours of use.
