Any adivise?

Post by Guest » Wed Aug 02, 2006 12:55 pm

Any idea on how or where you can sell your a Cpap? I have a virtually new Remstar Cpap, auto with Cflex and heated humidifier. It has only 300 hours on it and is about 5 weeks old. I was unable to adapt to using it. I tried listing it on ebay and about an hour later, they pulled the auction. Any ideas on how to sell it? Will the evil DME but it from me. It seems like such a huge waste for this beautiful brand new machine, to just sit and not have anyone using it.

Are you giving up? That would even be a bigger "waste". Your health will be in jeopardy.
Have you been doing much reading here? There are many others who keep trying and trying until they find the right combination that works for them.

Please don't give up on your therapy. If you have an "Auto", that should be of great help to find what works for you. With the software package it can tell you a great deal.

Best wishes,

If you're selling it in order to try another machine, then fine. But if you're selling it to give up on xPAP therapy, think again. Your life could be at stake... try harder to adapt, or try another machine, or another mask, but quitting xPAP therapy altogether is usually not any sort of reasonable option. Repeated nightly plummets in blood O2 saturation will play hell on all the systems of your body, and eventually lead to major, nasty diseases and disorders.

For an analogy, imagine a diabetic saying "screw it, I can't adapt to managing my blood sugar, so I'm not gonna bother anymore." I think we all know what'll happen to him/her, in time, and it's not pretty.

eGay 'yanks' them from their auctions. Something about a script, or something.

Yahoo Auctions is #1 for xPAP machines, and Sell, com is next..I think..
