Those numbers are in the bottom of the cpap machine not the humidity attachment. Is not a heated hose. The humidity numbers came from the settings in the info area in display

The good news is you have a very nice machine that is fully data capable. The data is collected on an SD card in the back of the machine. I would suggest downloading a software package called sleepyhead that will let you looked at the data collected.

Once you install the software and import the data on your card, it may shed some light on the situation. Its often helpful to post your report on here so others can look at it and help you interpret the data.

For help with redness on your face, if the redness appears on the "strap line" you can buy strap pads at http://www.padacheek.com. They helped me when I had strap marks on my cheeks. Sometimes I find I have a red nose, but that dissipates over a few hours.

The info box doesn't have humidity selection...humidity selection is the knob on the blower or it's in the clinical setup box.

Without a heated hose the setting choices for humidity are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5...that's it.
With 5 being the highest humidity to be delivered but without the heated hose and the machine set to the default humidification system that setting of 5 doesn't deliver enormous amounts of moisture.
