Re: awful bloating
What are your pressure settings?
Are you using EPR and if so at what setting?
Answers to the above questions will enable us to offer more specific ideas on how to reduce your unwanted symptoms.
Here's a link to some basic information that we usually point to when people complain of the bloating/aerophagia.

Re: awful bloating
Please add your equipment to your profile when you have a chance...see how I have mine.
Are you using EPR? It's exhale relief on the ResMed machines and if you aren't using it then you might want to use it and if you are using it you might want to increase it if you can.
Do you know exactly which machine you are using? Ramp starting at 5 and going to 10 could mean plain cpap mode or maybe you are using apap mode with a range of 5 starting and it can go to 10 but it might not go to 10.
The bloating is directly related to pressures used so it's kinda important to know if you are using 10 all night after the ramp or if you are maybe only seeing 10 part of the night.
Do you know about the software that you can use to see just what the pressure is doing (among other things)?

Re: awful bloating
I use 10 all night after 30 mins on 5. If I have to get up it goes back to 5 and start over. Thank you for the websit on Aerophia.

Re: awful bloating
EPR might help if you aren't using it.
EPR is exhale relief and the pressure drops 1 cm per EPR setting up to a maximum of 3 cm (at setting of 3) during exhale and this drop often helps people who are having aerophagia problems.
If you are already using EPR at 3 then we might need to come up with alternate ideas depending on how effective the 10 cm pressure is.
If you don't know about EPR or how to change it or turn it on...read the manual.

Re: awful bloating getting better!
Thanks for all you help. I have been doing better the last few nights I still has some gas but it's much better. I might had a stomach bug and didn't realize it. My husband had gas and pain and felt out of sorts. He doesn't use a cpap. It is nice having your support. Thank you!
