I can't get it. I try to install it and it gives me the same application not found. I really don't know the computer that well and it is hard for me to describe the computer terms. Thanks for asking.

OK ... you download the file .... what did you do next ?
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

I really don't know that I would recommend that you try 0.9.8-1 at this time.
But if you wish to try...I will try to help.
Let's try to avoid the need for 7 zip....less headache for you and me
Get this one and use your regular Windows extraction method to unzip.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/978 ... -64bit.zip
I don't remember if your computer is a 32 bit or 64 bit computer or not...so it may not work.
Once you get it unzipped go into the main unzipped folder and scroll down to the bottom of the files and look for the 2 application.exe files.
One may say Broken GL and the other may say Open GL...try one or both of those files (click on them) to see if SleepyHead will open for you.
If it will open...then you may get a message that something is missing and if you do let us know exactly what that message says is missing.

This is a Beta testing version that doesn't have the usual installer and won't give you a short cut on your desktop for it...you have to make your own. In all honesty...it may be more work for you and you really won't gain much ...so I don't know if it really is something you would benefit from. It's not going to show you anything that you can't already see on your older version except maybe a couple of minor things like large leak flagging and maybe a couple different statistics. The basics are really unchanged.

I would suggest that you wait until Mark releases a version with the installer and has polished up this Beta testing version.
It will be much easier for you to manage.

Gabe,
If all fails, do you have any kids around the neighborhood that could help you?

It keeps saying that application not found for 9.8.1. I've been going into documents on SleepyHead 9.8.1 and it says who do I want to open the file and I gave Adobe Reader XI. It gives me a window telling me that Adobe can't open the file because it is either not a supported file type or has been damaged (for example,it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded.)

I appreciate all who have tried to help me. Thank you. I'm going to take Pugsy's advice and hold off. Her advice is always the sound advice, whenever I needed some. Thanks Pugsy. I've got a headache and am getting off of the computer. Thanks again for the support and replies and if I've done anything wrong on this post, I would appreciate it if you reasonable people would let me know. I meant no harm when I bumped. I don't think it's that big a deal. I'm open to reasonable criticizem.

You have to have a special program to unzip the files you previously downloaded....you don't have that program...it's called 7 zip.
If you will download the files from my link above...I compressed those with the regular Windows compression program so you won't need 7 zip.

Edit...I see you decided to hold off...I think in your situation that is a good idea.

For everyone else...I know Gabe and have worked with him often in the past and in this situation I think it would involve less headaches for everyone if he waited. In this area of computer work his computer skills are very novice and since there is no urgent need to have this last version (no new machine compatibility problem) there's no urgent need to get it installed.

Gabe, I hope you got it all straightened out. I had originally put a derogatory statement on here concerning some of the attackers that have nothing better to do. I decided to remove it and not be like them. There really are people on here willing to assist you Gabe with correct and proper responses. I suppose you just have to weed through them and ignore the others.

I agree. They have a name for them even on this forum, TROLLS. They search and seek and attempt to find folks to respond negatively to them to be argumentative and create problems and dissension. I've been on bipap for about 14 years now so I do qualify with some experiences. I used to come to the forum frequently but eventually left because of the Trolls. I hope you got the correct answers you were looking for. I ignore most now as invalid because I am aware of my on apnea.

I lose track of time, but I bet it has been more than a year that I posted. I decided that it's best I stay with the SleepyHead that I have. Too much of a hassle!

I got a new Resmed AirCurve 10 VAuto 2 weeks ago. I did not have software for it. I had been using a Respironics M series and their software. So I got the sleephead software. Only problem I had was downloading some that had malware with it. Afterwards I got the right file and zip. Pugsy should be able to assist. She helped me with the download sites. I haven't read all the posts but she may have already helped. I just read the negative because it also applied to me. Krelvin is the one to help you with the software. Think it is his program.

Author is Mark (jedimark), not me. I just provided some resource links for it.

My question to Gabe was not answered.. so I really couldn't help. I have suspected all a long that he was attempting to install the archive file which will give the response he is reporting. It is not installable, it needs to be extracted instead. It is not a windows installer program you download.
