When you look at your downloaded files and find the sheep ( I've been informed his name is Bob), right click on him and you should have an option to pin him to the taskbar.
That works on windows 7 anyway.

The latest version, 0.9.8.1-testing, of Sleepyhead doesn't have an install program. You have to extract the program and it's associated files to a directory/location of your choosing. If you wish to have a desktop icon you would normally have to right-click in an empty area of your desktop and select the option, New->Shortcut, and point it to the Sleepyhead-(Open/Broken)GL.exe file in the directory that you extracted the files to. But you've got Win8.1 and that's a different animal. My instructions may or may not work with it. Hopefully a member who runs 8.1 will jump in here and confirm or correct me on this.

Hang in there, I'm sure help is not too far away.

Are you saying you have it downloaded and working, but can't find the short cut or that you are still trying to get it running?

Did you unzip it with the 7zipdownload that is in the box at the bottom of the downloads? http://sleepfiles.com/SH/index.html?TestingVersions You have to down load the 7zip program and using that program uncompress the sleepyhead files. Once that is done extract them to another file and open from the new file. Try using OpenGL first.

The older version should still be on your computer and available for use unless you removed it.
If you removed it...which version are you talking about...I might still have those setup files. I kept some but not all.

I forgot the computer died.

What version do you want? I have 0.9.3 already loaded in my dropbox file...this is the one that has the installer.

They are all test versions.

http://www.sleepfiles.com/SH has the 0.9.6 version

http://www.sleepfiles.com/SH/index.html?TestingVersions has the 0.9.8-1 version.

I find the 0.9.8-1 version works much better in many ways. Unless you've got a specific problem, you may just need to get used to the changes in the user interface.

anything besides sleepyhead 0.9.8-1 is completely unsupported... the older versions have bugs that have been fixed in 0.9.8-1.
