Mine from Sep is sitting on my desk.
Customer service survey? Hmm...I don't recall ever having one. I wonder if that's got anything to do with my rotten attitude toward their lousy services?

He/She probably filled it out themselves and slipped it into the paper work for you to sign.

Har, har. Love it. A circular survey... like a patting yourself on the back exercise. Regarding compliance you wrote:

I am in a compliance period for the machine. Ill do some digging and see what your talking about.
I'm not an expert on these issues but it may be wise just to 'suck it up' and do it their way till the compliance period is over. Maybe somebody else can speak to this?

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

And my provider is a bit on the incompetent side. But then again he wouldn't have told me nor would my Doctor. This guy wanted me to complete his customer service survey on day one. Seemed shocked I said I would take it with me. He asked my why I didn't want to do it right then. I told him I wasn't through with him yet. I still have it... and its blank.

Yeah, so do lots of new users. In reality, they CAN'T block YOU from getting into YOUR machine.

But, it would be a good idea for you to go through the clinical settings and write them down on paper for future references.
There have been many stories related here in the forum where some of the DMEs have gotten the settings wrong.

Yes... But now its just between me and the doctor. Im eliminating one middle man except for when I need supplies. And lets face it, this guy cost me a trip to town and two nights of data trial on the new settings by his incompetence. But at this point it makes no sense to give up on the doctor and to work in cooperation with him. Its all new for me and him. Until he somehow demonstrates a unwillingness to listen that is. But compliance, as I understand it, is simply use of the device for a period of time. And not a particular setting.

Compliance = hours used, not effectiveness of therapy, comfort, or settings.

However my numbers are good and well under control right off the bat. Went form a AHI of 133 during testing to 1's and 2's right away.

But the mask has been an issue. I can't get a confident seal without over tightening.
My inhalation pressure starts at 21 and can go up to 25. Finding a mask that worked was the hardest part of this whole process. I tried 4 full face mask and then 4 pillow masks. I found that the AirFit P10 has worked the best for my high pressure. The FFM kept me awake most of the night with farting sounds, or leaking into my eyes. The P10 stays in place and it has been a life saver. Have you tried different masks than the one you are using?

I'll take your advice and put that one on my list of ones to try. Thanks

I had my first night at 22 and 18 and did see some improvement but its WAY too early to tell anything with just one night.

I was able to let it somewhat loose and had a reasonable seal. My Sleepyhead data shows more peaks and valleys than my previous ones but it still rates a 100% seal. So its tolerable. I had a few more incidents of short leaks when moving around or moving my face around but none that was persistent. And none really requiring any intervention by me and stopped on their own. But overall the mask was tolerable by a decent magnitude. Not perfect. But I could live with it I think.

I had a 1.7 AHI so in the same range as before. Over a 7.6 hour period. So thats a good sign. At least its tempting to conclude that 25 is not necessary for me... a preliminary indication anyway.

I'll give this one a week before deciding anything. And if all is well at that point and this data is consistent... I might try just a tad lower. 20 and 16 would probably be my next target if so.

Added on Edit: I was reading some old threads about urination and SA. I can also report I don't think I have had to get up one single night since being on BiPap.... not one. And was getting up at least twice most nights before then.
