Great. Doesn't look like I can change the "range" of the auto pressure. I can only set it to manual on one setting. Should I just try this? If so at what level?
if you can change it to cpap mode, you can change the pressure settings in auto mode.
remember lower has to be less than upper, and upper has to be more than lower, if you're trying to change things.

yeah I cannot see anywhere in the manual where that can be done. Ridiculous. The thing has everything you could want except that? Wow.

you're either looking in the wrong manual, or overlooking the setting, bottom of page 15 of the clinicians manual.

You can reset things, but you first need to switch things into auto mode vs cpap (which it's apparently in). Do you have the manual for it? If not, I'm sure someone here can help you better (don't have that machine) to do it. As far as having a cold goes, FF masks are ideal for that so he can mouth breathe if he has to without losing therapy air. Also sleeping in a recliner is often helpful - it lessens apneas and maybe can help with breathing if he's having trouble.

Yeah I definitely did not have that manual. I had to register as a clinician to get it and download it. Working on it now. Thanks so much for that.

Yeah I had the shorter "retail" version of the manual. I just got the 44 page clinician's one and am working on it now. Not the simplest thing I've done I have to say. Great advice about the mask and recliner

Nope no questions....just want to make sure that CPAP setting is right and well ok there is one. I need something that goes around the face to add a little help keeping it secure. I saw something on a website but can't find it now. For short term Im just going to cut up an old T Shirt but I did see one that looked good. Anyone know what Im talking about?

Oops, if you want the 8-15 range don't put it in CPAP mode. Needs to be in Auto mode.

The manuals are all on line - they hide how to do that but it is easy once you know the secret code of holding the buttons at once.

cpap mode is a single fixed pressure that doesn't change. autoset mode is what you need if you want the range of pressures to be effective.

Yep, and then there is of course, the other 43 pages that I pray I never have to read.
