ResMed S9 Autoset with heated humidifier for sale

Post by CMM » Wed Dec 03, 2014 5:25 pm

I'm looking to sell my ResMed S9 Autoset. It comes with the heated humidifier, 2 water tubs, 2 sealed filters and carrying case. The machine has 221 hours on it.
I'm looking to get the AirSense 10 Auto for her that my DME said they didn't carry.
Please message me if you're interested.

If you don't already have a backup/spare machine, I'd recommend keeping this one.

Thanks for the advice. I might just do that. Either way, I'm hoping to order the AirSense from our host in January when my flexible spending starts.

I am just reading about the auto CPAP machines. I have a pressure of 7.5 and currently have the REMstar Pro C-Flex+. Are the auto machines really better?

Better for some...more flexible due to automatically changing pressure as needed. Not everyone likes the fluctuations, though.

It depends on your needs.
If your machine is data capable and you are following your therapy on a regular basis, you will know how well you are doing.if you are not playing attention to your tharapy, then probably no one is.
If your fixed pressure is maintaining your AHI well below 5, then you are probably just fine.

The auto machine will adjust your pressure/therapy through out the night as you change position or sleep stage to keep you at the optimal settings at all times. That said they aren't perfect so not everyone maintains an AHI of zero. But many folks do better with an auto machine.
