The air from the machine goes in spurts, pulsates

Post by Mura » Mon Dec 01, 2014 5:18 am

I use the Resmed S9 Autoset C-Pap machine.
The air from the machine goes in spurts, pulsates. It does not go evenly.
This pulsating air does not allow to fall asleep.
Please help to resolve this!

check your settings, you may have the EPR turned on, or too high, when I turned mine on it will pulse near the end of a long exhale

1st Check EPR settings.
2nd Check if set for correct tubing type.
3rd Check to make sure its set for correct mask type. This is a common mistake and the PAP will act diff.
