It would help if you'd tell us where you live as Weinman machines are more commonly sold in Europe (and possibly elsewhere) rather than in N. America, so we're not very familiar with them, so it's hard to comment. There are new machines now sold by various companies over here (and around the world) like the AirSense 10 by Resmed, and they do a very good job, but we might be able to advise more if we knew where you live.

And do you have problems with vision? If you do not, please don't write in capital letters - it comes across as if you're yelling at us.

Hello
I apologize for the capital letters
I live in Israel and Weinmann are having a strong "pushing" marketing here.
They have a machine that looks very good from the point of Engineering design and appearance but it is totally not customer oriented
Also their own recomended mask is not comfortable -and significantly lower comfort than Resprionics mask
Is the Resmed CPAP a more comfortable machine ?
With my old Goodknight 420 I sleep very comfortable as it adapts the pressure level automatically in a manner that " I do not feel I have a Cpap" and same regarding performance during exhalation of air.The problem is that it cannot be repaired locally and the start button is worn.
I tested the Weinman machine and, although local Technician has made several program amendments for making it more comfortable for me -it really was annoying
I will try to see if Airsense 10 by Resmed is available locally for testing it
Many thanks
Isaac

I wonder how much of your trouble comes from the machine and how much from the mask (if it doesn't fit properly)? Many people blame the machine for bad sleep when the mask is the problem... what do you think?

And have you tried using straight Cpap (vs auto) at the level your software (you use it I hope?) tells you that you spend most of the night at? Sometimes the changing levels of an auto machine wake people and so they go to plain Cpap and are happy.

Any mask will work with any machine.
The company would like you to use their mask,
but if it doesn't work, don't let them pressure you into changing from a mask that is comfortable!
Demand a mask that works, not the one they want to sell.

Regarding settings: just from the beginning of use the Weinmann was not comofrtable -with all the auto and non auto settings the local supplier adjusted for me.They said they will check their machine settings -perhaps the machine is faulty
Untill I get feedback from them , I will try to test the recomended Airsense 10 from Resmed
Regarding the mask-I will continue to use the Respironics mask , that needs periodic replacement of the silicon gel spacer-as it is the most comfortable for me
