After 2 weeks, finally a long nights sleep!

Post by Bugbarb » Mon Nov 10, 2014 9:17 pm

After spending most of the last 2 weeks sleeping 4,5 then 7 hours, last night I slept 11 hours!!! I thought that would do away with my need for mid-day provigil and mid-afternoon naps, but I was wrong. I curled up at 3pm and slept for 2 hours. I know that cpap therapy doesn't show its best results overnight, but I guess being new I'm impatient. Oh well, I'm still happy at being able to sleep for 11 hours.

Keep going! As letsride said... it will get much better as you go. Be aware the improvements may be very gradual, so be sensitive to the improvements to your body.

Keep going!! Eventually you'll probably be able to do away with the naps. Keep in mind that even after you no longer need them, you may still feel the urge to take one - like anything they can become a habit. Whether you continue the habit is up to you - it won't hurt anything as long as your schedule permits it and you use the CPAP during the nap.

It took me almost a year before I slept longer than 4 hours using my cpap.

WOW! This is awesome especially so early on!

I am now enjoying sleeping about 8 hours nightly with no bathroom trips after 5 months of C-papping. I feel SO much better!

Best wishes for continued success!

all you do by stressing about it is make it worse.
