Hey everyone,
I have an F&P Icon and it doesn't record the duration of events under the "events" tab. Instead it just records a (1) for everything. For example:
Obstructive Apnea 8 Events:
#001 2:18:02 (1)
#002 6:22:01 (1)
#003 …..
etc
Can I find an approximate average using the Flow Rate Graph data? For example it says I had 42 events with a total duration of 7:54:00 (minutes) or 474 seconds.
Can I say average duration = 474 seconds / 42 events = 11.3 seconds per event?
I realize it's not ideal since they can vary but it would give me some sense of what's going on.
Thanks!
How can I determine event duration from Sleepyhead?
Re: How can I determine event duration from Sleepyhead?
You can zoom in on each event real close and manually count the seconds. Bear in mind that when you zoom in really close it always makes it difficult to see the beginning and ending of the flow rate change. So you have to be in close enough to count seconds and out enough to see where the flow rate changes. They need to be 10 seconds to earn a flag. Probably the bulk of them are in the10 to 15 second duration. You may find out that the majority of your events fall within that average you figured out.
With a bit of time and experience you can zoom in and doesn't have to be really close and you an eyeball duration and get a feel for duration that way.
Or if you ever get a second machine for a backup or travel...and duration bugs you....get a ResMed machine as it actually flags duration
