Climaline hose making popping noise

My machine actually hose made popping noise last night. Replaced it with slim line hose. Noise went away. Why?

Why did the noise go away? On the ClimaTEline hose?

Either water or popcorn in the hose.....

The noise didnt go away until I changed to the slim line hose. It is sitting on the same night stand it always was. Maybe the temp its cold out now. I checked for a hole in the hose . And I checked the connection on my mask

Are you using EPR? That can cause a clicking as it kicks in. Try breathing more gently to test that.

Yes I use EPR. I have always used EPR. Why popping now. I have used this machine for 10 months. Maybe something wtong with humidifiet

I have a used/spare S9 now (350 hrs) and it clicks a little, my original one (4 months old, 1200 hrs) does not. It's a tiny click and if I breathe gently or drop the EPR to 2, it stops. I think it's some kind of flap or a valve that probably wears with time.

Your machine is probably different...

There should be a thermostat for the heated hose. Maybe the popping noise comes from switching the current for the hose?
