I finally convinced my Doctor to prescribe an Autoset machine. Am now using a Resmed S9 Autoset. Really like it.
Much quieter, easier to breath with compared to my original machine. I would like to get a copy of the ResScan software
So that I can track my usage information. Is this the best SW to for this? Would like to track actual therapy pressure as well as usage. Can I get a copy or is it only provided to professionals?
ResScan software
Re: ResScan software
You can use SleepyHead software (links in my signature and a new version thread is on the main page of the forum).
I prefer it to ResScan.
But if you want ResScan this explains how to get it
http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread ... -available
Windows only though.. Won't work on a Mac unless you put Windows on the Mac.

Re: ResScan software
Pugsy,
Thank you for your quick reply. I take it that Sleepyhead can be used on a MAC (which I have.)
I was aware of ResScan requiring a Windows computer; was thinking of getting a low cost Windows Laptap for this and a few other reasons.
(Am aware of option of putting windows on my Mac; for some reason that does not appeal to me.)
I will check out the Sleepyhead software.
Again, Thanks.

Re: ResScan software
Yes, SleepyHead has a Mac version available that will work just fine.
I mention ResScan on a Mac if the Mac has Windows on it (Parallels or Bootcamp or similar) but there is no urgent need add Windows just forResScan. SleepyHead shows the same stuff that ResScan shows and faster.
Some people already have Windows on their Macs for other reasons and for those people ResScan might be something they want to play with but there's no need.
Don't blame you at all for not wanting to add Windows to the Mac and there's no need anyway. Now if you already had Windows on it then you would have the choice if you wanted to look at ResScan. SleepyHead is my go to software. I keep ResScan on hand just to have it to compare to on occasion. Or if someone has a technical question about it.

Re: ResScan software
I'm new to CPAP therapy and I use Sleepyhead, which I think is great . My initial instincts were to go for Resscan but since I have a Mac that was quite out of the question other than perhaps opting for the likes of Parallels or Boot Camp. Having therefore been pretty much limited to Sleepyhead I have not been at all disappointed; in fact I have been delighted with it. It is easy to use and simple to interpret. So I agree there is really no need to go to the extra expense of buying a Windows device or adding Windows to a Mac.
