How do I sell a Respironics? eBay just dumped my auction

eBay dumped my auction. CPAP machines not allowed?
Secondwind,com offered next to nothing for it.
cpapbuyers.com doesn't buy anymore.
I guess it's Craigslist or nothing?

Please advise me as to what you think my unit is worth.
Please advise me if you know of any other places where I can list it for sale.

Here is my info:

RESPIRONICS REMstar M series CPAP Device with a heated humidifier and water chamber. Model # 1022334, Serial # H000635520

Included with this device is:

1. Flexible tubing
2. ResMed Swift FX Face Mask with 2 small (never used) and 1 extra small nasal pillows
3. Padded ear attachments (never used)
4. Padded head gear attachment
5. Soft wrap cheek protectors (never used)
6. Power cables
7. Reusable gray foam air filter.
8. Troubleshooting sheet, equipment cleaning and disinfection sheet, and care and maintenance sheet.

This unit is in Excellent shape. It probably has less than one weeks use of time on it.
My wife just checked to make sure that all still works, and it does. She also did a thorough cleaning with white vinegar (per instructions).
Even though the head gear has been used, it has been thoroughly cleaned. All the included items are in mint - like new shape.
The unit itself had manufacturer stickers on the top front. We thought they did not look good and removed them with sticker/cleaner remover. That cleaner faded the black plactic a bit where the stickers were.
Still looks new. The protective plastic fill over the digital readout screen has never been removed.

At this time, we cannot locate the owners manual. There seem to be plenty availible on the Internet, as well as YouTube videos.
We also do not recall if we got a carrying bag for this - as we never intended to travel with it.
If we find the owners manual and carrying bag, we will include it. As of now, we cannot find them.

My wife is selling this only because she did not like the feeling of the mask on her face for sleep apnea - and did not have the patience to try to get used to it.

Hate to say it, but it would make much more sense health wise to try and get on with the machine. Tell us the problems and we'll try to help.

I had a month of hell but now have it down, thanks mostly to folks here.

Which model? There were several different models. What are all the words you see on top of the machine and humidifier?
If unsure there should be a sticker on the bottom of the blower unit that gives a 3 digit model number. Tell us the model number and then we can figure out which model it is.
The M series machines were discontinued late 2009 and early 2010 depending on which model. It isn't going to be worth much even if it is the top of the line model.

The "model" number you listed is (from my searching) the humidifier......not the machine.

The DS100 is the lowest, basic model that was offered. It has no data capabilities or even exhale relief (C-Flex).

You'd be LUCKY to get $50.00 out of that whole works. It's probably in the neighborhood of 7 years old.

Sorry, the market for those basic machines is pretty marginal. Everybody wants/needs "data" to monitor their therapy.
It might be useful for a spare/backup/camping unit, but don't count on much money for it.

you have to take the two units part to see the model number of the blower. it lifts up at the front, you can see where it's sitting on the platform from the humidifier if you look at the right side and front

Bingo. I lifted it out and indeed it has a model number.

It says model # 100M

But, the others had a name across the top......"Plus", "Pro" or "Auto". By not putting a model name on the top, they could "hide" the fact that it was the bottom-of-the-barrel model.

the problem is that it's the least capable model, and it's three generations behind. (and before someone corrects me, I'm counting the new bottom of the barrel SE model as the latest, so , 50 series, 60 series, then SE. )

You might get more from some poor, unsuspecting, uninformed, desperate person. But, if you have a conscience, (and some of those people on Ebay and Craigslist do NOT, you wouldn't ask for much more. Over the last several years, there have been a huge number of machines that have been rotated out of (and updated) institutional settings (hospitals, nursing homes and the like) and have flooded the market. It hasn't been hard finding quality, little-used, data-capable machines for about $150.00 or less. It's not hard to find some earlier System One machines for around $250.00 or less.
