I always go to bed feeling like my nostrils look like this
but wake up in the morning feeling like they look like this
I'm adjusting straps, using Lamisil or whatever it is, etc. I guess I just have to get used to it.

protip: if you don't want your face to look like the entrace to the chunnel,

don't tip your head back in photos.
now I'm expecting to see a train come zooming out of one side of that nose.

Lamisil=anti-fungal topical medication (for jock itch--not to be used on face, especially inside nostrils)
Lansinoh=nipple ointment, made of lanolin, sold for nursing mothers (bag balm for humans)
Please; only use the lanolin product.

Yeah, the second one. That's what I'm using, but my nose does itch so maybe I'll give the other one a shot.

Are you saying before bed at night you don't have piggy nose and in the morning you do??
That usually means the straps are too tight.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

I find the pillows do not need to be pushed very hard against my nose. Just enough pressure to make a seal. I suppose the higher the CPAP pressure, however, the tighter the pillows need to be pushed against the nose... My setting is 9 cmH2O, and my pillows are actually in fairly light contact with my nose -- a "2" or "3" out of 10 in terms of how hard they are pushing.

i had to have my pillows up pretty tight or they leaked... also found that having facial hair made the itching heaps worse...
since switching to the Sleepweaver the nose has been heaps better... still have to keep facial hair to a minimum but the sleep has been better
