Well after starting CPAP about 2 months ago I'm starting the feel the difference, less waking up at night, less fatigue during the day--feeling pretty good actually. Now it feels weird to try to sleep without the machine, and when I've tried following a bathroom trip within an hour or so of my usual wake time the quality of sleep is clearly not as good. I don't do that anymore.
Like many I tried a variety of masks settling on SWIFT FX pillows with a chin strap for most nights. Lucky for me my wife uses these and she encouraged me to try a spare she had as the nasal mask was a bit of a challenge. At some point I'm hoping that I'll be able to wean myself off the chin strap. Still trying to find FFM for those congested nights, and having a beard makes the process a little more challenging.
Lincare is my DME and I've had a reasonable experience so far, they set me up with an S9 Autoset with humidifier--no fuss no muss without my asking. That said I wish I would have found this site before I began the journey. Since I believe my insurance will reimburse me directly I suspect I'll be weaning myself from a DME moving to an internet provider.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
