Last night was my first night on CPAP. I slept fine and slept throught the night, I woke up around 6am with my mask still on and everything was gravy.
I went ahead and looked at my therapy hours and it displayed as 3, I know I was asleep for longer than 3 hours, so is my machine not calculating correctly or am I not getting the full benefit that I should be getting from my machine.
My pressure is set to 13, C-Flex is set to 3, and I don't remember waking up at all during the night. I know for a fact I slept with my mask on for at least 6 hours.
Any help would be great! Thanks in adavance.

Re: Question about therapy hours
The LCD screen display doesn't update until 12 Noon GMT time...so perhaps you checked it before it updated.
I suspect if you check it this evening it will be correct.
Your profile shows the PR System One Plus CPAP with CFlex...that would be model number 250.
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/respir ... cflex.html
There is a slightly newer version model 260. It is called the PR System One 60 Series Plus CPAP with CFlex.
Model number is on the bottom of the blower unit. You might want to confirm model number.
You just requested Encore Pro software and if you have a 250 or 260 model machine there's no sense in using the software because those models don't gather any useful data....all they gather is hours of use on that SD card.
You might want to read this if you have a model 250/260 machine. Especially the part down near the bottom "help I have been given a brick"
http://maskarrayed.wordpress.com/
You need model number 450 or higher in the Respironics PR S1 line to have any useful data beyond hours of use.
If you are going to want to follow your data...the time is now to get the DME to swap you out with a full efficacy data machine...the longer you use the brick (if that is what you have) the harder it is to get them to swap.

Re: Question about therapy hours
Thanks for the info, I'll contact them and tell them to give me a non dinosaur machine.
Re: Question about therapy hours
Make sure that they give you a full data machine....they still produce the 260 as it is brand new and latest model but it still doesn't gather any useful data.
Know your model numbers....avoid anything less than 450 model.
