Sleepyhead - Respironics Remstar Pro Cflex+ graph question

Post by danjeharry » Fri Jun 13, 2014 7:19 pm

Hi all, just a quick question. In my flow rate graph, I keep seeing these little green dots, like the purple pressure pulse dots, but green. What are those? Haven't been able to find any info on them.

Thanks!

I don't have any green dots in my sleepyhead flow rate, so I don't have any idea. I have colored dots on top of vertical lines that correspond to the color of the events on the graph at the top. If you're running a version of sleepyhead other than 0.9.5, look to see the colors in the top graph, maybe you have an event that uses green, in which case the green dots might correspond to that event... dots by themselves don't usually exist except in an unexplained glitch, of which I've had a couple. If anybody knows, they'll be along to help you.

Thanks for the reply. There doesn't seem to be any events that correspond to them, and they are located actually at a different level than the ones with vertical lines (which do correspond to events). I don't think this occurs in Resmed data, but in Respironics data, there are purple dotes which correspond to pressure pulses when the machine is trying to detect a central apnea vs obstructive apnea event. In my case, I have green dots as well which I have no idea what they mean.

I seem to have a few myself. Never noticed them till you mentioned it and I went back and looked at some of my old reports.
Like you...little green box similar to the pressure pulse box...I have no idea what it is. The ones I just looked at weren't even an abnormal breath.
I saw them on both my BiPap Pro and Auto reports...so not a pressure change because with the Pro the pressures are fixed.

So I don't know what they are.
