Which machine should I go after?
Preferably would like data to be transmitted wirelessly.
So does that mean System One?

Re: Eligible for new APAP... I want daily access to my data
None of the full data machines will transmit the data wirelessly to you the patient.
There are modems available to DMEs to us for wireless transmission of the compliance data (and maybe some other limited data) but that requires a subscription to special software on a monthly basis.
Wireless at a patient level is not yet feasible.
The SD cards used now do make things a lot easier to use the software that is available. No more need for special card readers that are costly.

It would be helpful if you would register (list) your current machine and masks.
The is a link in my signature block to help with that.
If you are reasonably happy with your current machine, then its likely that you will be happy with that manufacturer's current new machine.
Some folks react poorly to the particular algorithms of some manufacturers although the number of folks who can tell the difference is quite small. So, if you stay with the same line, that is not an issue.

Thank you both,
My current machine is a Respironics REMstar Pro M Series from 2009.
When you say
Has anyone tried an EyeFi card in their PAP machine? (the EyeFi's have built in WiFi access, which might enable wireless data access)

Re: Eligible for new APAP... I want daily access to my data
Yes, it has been discussed here on the forum on more than one occasion in the past. Some have tried. No one has been able to get it done. Problems with the type of data that these WiFi cards gather and how it is transmitted and the data the machines provide don't play nice together. You could do a forum search for those discussions or just wait and see if anyone who has tried it responds to your question and maybe still have some of those threads available. I didn't save any myself. You aren't the first one to want to do it and some have gone to extensive lengths to try it...no one has had any success...not even close.KingofPillows wrote:Has anyone tried an EyeFi card in their PAP machine? Be careful in your shopping, SD cards are pretty common now but they still make some that don't have data logging to SD.KingofPillows wrote:Thank you both,

Comment,
I think that you used the words "transmitted wirelessly" and without mentioning to where was done erroneously. Am I correct?
I say it b/c if your Doc wanted you to do it this way then he/she, via a DME, would have specified the mfg.

Re: Eligible for new APAP... I want daily access to my data
Sorry, just realized there had been more comments...
I should start a new thread. I had my System One (RemStar A-Flex) arrive on Friday, and I've installed the Sleepmapper app. It seems like Bluetooth functionality is possible, but I might need to get an add on to the device.
