Cleaning Humidifier Tank

Post by JDS74 » Wed Jun 04, 2014 11:07 am

In addition to all the effective and useful methods reported here, a friend described to me how he cleaned his older, one-piece ResMed humidifier tank.

After the usual cleaning exercises, there was still some scum left and he thought that a power washer would be nice.
So he cranked up his Water Pik, reached down into the tank, and blasted out the remaining crud.

Who would have thought?

Even if your tank opens, a Water Pik can reach the nooks and crannies and blast the nastiness out. Just fill with hot water and away you go.
