Had a rough time sleeping last night, last week my pressure was raised from 11 to 13. Last night I had my first real challenge. My ears felt like I was taking off on a plane ride. It was just and annoying feeling. I know sometimes it be days that it's rough. Is there any advice or do it takes time to adjust to pressure change I start off about at 7 than work up to full setting of 11. My cpap is the Remstar auto c-flex with humidifier
Thanks bighunt

Re: trying to adjust to pressure raised
A two cm jump in pressure is something that will bother a lot of people. Others won't hardly notice at all.
Since you are bothered with ear pressure, you could try easing into the the new, higher pressure. Start by reducing the pressure back down to 11.5 cm and leave it there for 3 or 4 days. And then increase the pressure to 12 and leave it there for 3 or 4 days. And then increase the pressure to 12.5 and leave it there for 3-4 days. And then finally increase the pressure to 13. The slower rate of increase with a chance for the ears to get used to slightly higher pressure may make it easy to tolerate 13cm when you finally get there. Of course, the tradeoff is higher than desirable AHIs in the mean time.
