It’s been a hard day’s night

Post by friar » Thu May 29, 2014 10:27 pm

It’s been a hard day’s night and I’ve slept like a log.
Yesterday was a car’s sale day. Had arranged appointments for prospective buyers to come and view my pride and joy. About a dozen Vatanen wanna be timewasters showed up. End result, car still in driveway, wife furious for not getting rid of the old banger, my temper in shreds and to top it all missed my long established noon siesta.
My sleeping habits are odd. I love to lay and have a lazy afternoon dozing off for a couple of hours plenty of times even more. This results in not be able to sleep for more than three or four hours during the night. So my week old therapy, was a joke clocking under four hours nightly. Last night though I’ve managed a solid uninterrupted eight hour sleep and woke up feeling like a bird.
Moral of the story. Skip siesta, take a long walk instead, exhaust my self and go to bed early.

When/if you take another nap....be sure to use the machine...remember any sleep (even a nap) means using the machine.
And yes a long nap in the afternoon can sure affect the hours of sleep we get at night.

I can take a short 2-3 hr nap on Sunday, go to bed that night and sleep till the alarm wakes me @ 5am. I love the nap for sure especially wearing my mask...
