Help with S9 Oximeter Adapter

Post by Pekoepup » Tue May 20, 2014 10:37 pm

Hi,

I am supposed to start a week long pulse oximeter study at home, tonight. The Sleep Clinic sent me the adapter with some simple instructions and 3 sat probes. I set up the equipment following their directions but it is not working. The machine keeps displaying: Insert SD Card or press dial to accept no oximetry data logging. The instructions list several possible causes for this code but none of them have helped.

I arrived home from work after the clinic closed so I can't call anyone. Does anyone have the S9 adapter at home or possibly used it for a study? Do you have any suggestions what I can try? The clinic sent me a new SD card to use for the week. I tried putting my own SD card in but that didn't work. I can always reach someone tomorrow but I was hoping someone here would share some wisdom.

Thanks so much.

Here is a link to the installation instructions and error instructions.
It is likely that the Oximeter probe in not connected properly.

Thanks for the suggestion. I took the machine and cable in to the Sleep Clinic and it turns out that they gave me the wrong probes. The ones I had attached fine but were not recognized by the cable. Everything seems to be working well now.
