Installation problems with Encore Pro and Win 8.1

Post by peke » Thu May 08, 2014 6:12 pm

I am having trouble installing Encore Pro on my Windows 8.1 computer. One time it said SQL server error. Other times it just said error. Is there a trick to install on Windows 8.1?

Also I have one of the original Res-Med Adapt SVs. It does not have an SD card. How do I get the info from the ASV to the computer?

Thanks!

No special trick..just luck. The SQL server database problem has plagued every version of Pro that there ever was.
I don't know how to fix it. It's been discussed here on the forum in the past and a few people got it figured out but no one ever gave clear step by step instructions on how they fixed it.
Pro seems to have a 1 in 5 failure to install rate. It's high compared to Basic.
Let's see if we can get Encore Basic working on your computer. Check PMs in just a few minutes.
