did you have your study at the va
you do know they will accept the results from an outside lab
or a home study right

I believe I have Central SA more so than OSA
centrals are much more diff to treat

to get the va to treat you for something you dont have a dx for
is like trying to get a doc to put a cast on a visibly broken arm or leg
w/o an xray (a diagnosis)

do you have other insurance
can you not get a home study or another psg
it will make things happen so much faster for you
and more accurately too

I canceled my insurance last year when I signed up with the VA. I got tired of paying 600.00+ a month for insurance.
And I will ask for a home study.

Myself, I’d stick with the private insurance. While having my so called free for life medical care via the VA, or Tricare is better than nothing, I had so much trouble with the military healthcare system over the years that I find paying for and using private insurance very worth the cost. Of course having Tricare to use as a secondary means I almost never even have a co-pay, don’t need referrals, and have rarely had any difficulties with insurance coverage even while traveling.
Back to your original issue though, have you looked at other possibilities than sleep apnea? There are so many other things that can cause sleep to be less than the refreshing wonder we all hope to experience. It might be worth looking into some of the numerous other things that could be causing results similar to those of sleep apnea.
