Just wanted to give an update. Dr said she was going to up my pressure because of the change to a full face mask. Also I am testing out a higher dose of nuvigil.
Also, I am going to have do all o can to get more sleep with the cpap. We will see how this goes. Today was okay until about 15 minutes left in a lecture setting and I struggled with sleepiness. But I am not sure if it is the medicine because I only slept for 3 or 4 hours and only 2 of that was on the cpap.
So no new machine as of yet because I want to make sure I am doing all I can and the dr says I have to do a better job with the cpap and she has to prove to the insurance that it is not only sleep apnea before she can test for narcolepsy.

Re: Update from doctor
Since I'm on auto at a range, I can see my pressure at night; and a full face mask does indeed raise my pressure.
Not everyone experiences this, but I would guess your doctor is being conservative since your machine does not have efficacy data.
You will have to observe how the new setting coordinates with your daytime feel, and your ability to sleep.
