tqpannie, I don't have any insight why you're having so many more hypopneas when work goes crazy, but I'm confused and concerned by the times on your charts. It looks like your apnea is under control (even with all those events, SleepyHead says your AHI is less than 2 even on your bad night), but your sleep isn't.
Both nights, you had some sort of awakening, about half an hour long, at about 4 a.m. That sucks (I can obviously relate), but it's not unheard-of.
When did you put on the mask and when did you take it off? The first night you showed, did you sleep from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. (except for the half hour around 4 a.m.) and then take a late-morning nap? The second night, it looks as if you took a nap from 3:30 to 7 p.m., then slept from about 11 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. (again except for the awakening around 4 a.m.).
That looks to my amateur eyes like a decent night's sleep followed by some serious Excessive Daytime Sleepiness. That second night is worrisome, not because you had a lot of hypopnea events, but because you got a hell of a lot of sleep.Too much sleep really is a problem, or maybe a symptom of a problem. See this Washington Post article:
Regularly sleeping too long may indicate a health problem.
You probably don't want to hear this, but I think it's time to find a professional to understand your non-apnea sleep problems, or underlying problems you might have that are also screwing up your sleep.
Good luck!
