The ex-member who wrote the note I posted is in Australia, so won't be of much help re finding answers here.
Hello,
So Kevin is the screen name of the online dealer? Would I contact him via the messaging on this site?
Thank you!

Kevin is who you would be dealing with at the above link.
This is where I got my CMS 50 D Plus...he will make sure you have the right software for your computer. Great guy.

Yep, that machine will work just fine.
You can use SleepyHead software and/or Encore with it. Send me a PM if you want Encore.
SleepyHead information can be found in the links in my signature line.

My apologies. It is the "50 Series"....not the 60. Still appropriate for my needs?

Still appropriate for what you are wanting to do.
The 60 series is just a slightly newer model and the main difference is the heated hose option and silent mode. Neither are deal breakers. Heated hose is useful to prevent rain out but we managed without heated hoses for many years and not everyone even needs one anyway. All silent mode does is turn off a single little beep when the machine is initially started...we did without that for years too.
Otherwise they still do the same sort of apnea treatment and reports are identical.

Ok, so as I mentioned earlier, I have the RemStar 50 series on its way. I also have the CMS-50D+ oximeter. I will be using these to self treat.
Here is the mask I was able to get from a friend:

Thoughts on this mask?
As well as thoughts on what else I am going to need to self treat...
Thank you
