Machine error +redefine values for original

Can Anyone help me with My resmed s9 tis giving me a message of error and The On off Bettoni blinking plus
It says to redifine original settings

How old is the machine? I have heard that this can happen when the battery on the motherboard that keeps time, date, and therapy settings eventually goes flat.

Have you tried unplugging the unit and re plugging to re boot the system?
