My new Devilbiss IntellPAP review

Wow! I slept fantastic last night! I had my trusty PB Goodnight 420E for 10 years before I broke it a few days ago (fell off the nightstand). This machine stepped right in and performed fantastic. Neither my wife nor I slept the first night with the machine, however. SmartFlex is enabled by default and did not work so well for me (or her). For the uninitiated, SmartFlex is a feature that automatically lowers the pressure when you exhale, then increases it when you inhale. I thought it felt pretty cool when I first went to bed and the pressure was low, but after I fell asleep and the pressure started to rise, the sudden increases in pressure when I transitioned from exhaling to inhaling broke my "seal" and literally blew my mouth open causing me to "gurgle". The wife kept waking me because of the disgusting noises I was making. So I disabled the SmartFlex feature and life was good. I highly recommend this machine!
