I went with the "almost" catagory as there are occational naps that I don't dig out the CPAP. I probably should move it or only nap in my bed next to the CPAP but sometimes a short charger nap on the couch, on the floor, or in the car just feels too good. Multiple day backpacking and canoe trips are also a problem. There just isn't a light weight machine that is capable of multiple nights and I haven't found a solar charger that really works. Such trips and naps are comparatively rare so I would guess I'm about 95+% compliant. I haven't missed a night at home, motel, or car camping since early February 2006.

I am 100% compliant (by definition = days used). Percent of days with usage greater than 4 hours = 92.1%. Percent of days with usage less than 4 hours = 7.9%. Average usage on all days = 7hrs 4min.
I can only speculate why I have a limited number of nights with less than 4 hours of usage. Perhaps I am taking the mask off in my sleep 7.9% of the time.
The real measurement of success is average usage on all days. I can live with my 7hrs and 4 min.

Let's see, I _THINK_ I've been on the machine for three months now (or it it four?). I went without the machine because of a severe cold for one night, so I'm guessing that I'm 99% compliant.
And yes, I wear it for naps too. That's what weekends are for!
I saw someone last night who hasn't seen me since pre-CPAP. He was amazed at the difference in my appearance. I feel a lot better, too.

I consider myself 100% compliant. I have spent two nights in the last year without it. One was because of a nasty cold with a horrible cough that was aggravated by the air from the machine blowing in. The other was when I spent the night in a hotel bathroom erping. I think I slept in there too. (Not alcohol related at all. More like food poisoning.)
I take it with wherever I go that involves overnight sleeping. I don't always take the humidifier part, but the machine for sure.
After my first full night of using my mask about a year ago, I haven't even had any claustrophobic issues either. I just felt THAT good and my mind flipped a switch.

Impressive
As of my reading with 51 replies, 78% of us respondents are 100% compliant.
Truly impressive statistics.

Re: How many of you are 100% compliant?
100%
I think there are two types of people when it comes to events - those who get woken up the second they happen, and those who go into deeper sleep, and wake up many times but maybe don't realise. I think the second group are more likely to not be 100% compliant or be undiagnosed for years. I was like that and left guessing at why I was so tired before an operation which turned out to be the final kick I needed towards CPAP.
I wake up the second I fall asleep without the machine as the explosive head elevator shaft moving upwards sensation jolts me awake again and again and again until I don't sleep at all for fear of it happening. Even on the machine (currently auto CPAP- I must update) it happens the occasional time but there is no fear there, I know that's as bad as it gets. So for me no choice - 100% or sleep apnea and insomnia.

Re: How many of you are 100% compliant?
I use my CPAP every night along with my mask and ear muffs and balaclava , as I get cold at night easily as I am very prone to getting chills and colds.. But I do not miss a night, as I pay dearly next day if I go without as though I got tramped over by herd of elephants! Pounding headache and tired next day.
Re: How many of you are 100% compliant?
Never missed a night or nap without the machine

The first month I may have had 2 naps without it. But that was 5 years ago so that only figures
out to 99.95%

Re: How many of you are 100% compliant?
It depends on how you define "compliant."
I hose up around 90+% of the time, but machine stats show that sometimes I pull off the mask at the 2 hour mark, sometimes at the 5 hour mark, and on great nights, I make it 7-8 hours. I've started using Sleepyhead to really quantify things, and how good I feel has nothing to do with how many "nights" I use it, or even how many nights I'm "compliant" (defined as 4+ hours or more by many docs/DMEs/machines), but how many nights per week or month I make it past 7 hours on the machine in a given night.
