Hi everyone,
Though I use my CPAP religiously I still toss and turn all night and wake up exhausted. I stayed at a sublease a while back and the memory foam mattress they had there gave me the perfect night's sleep. Unfortunately it had no tag so I have no idea where they got it from! At first it was rock hard but after laying on it for about thirty seconds it conforms perfectly to your entire body and supports everything--not a single pressure point. Unfortunately I have not been able to locate a similar mattress despite trying all the name brand memory foam manufacturers. The closest I've found was a tempurpedic contour select but still it isn't even close.
Does anyone know of any companies that make the old style of non-tempurature sensetive memory foam? I am worred that it has been completely discontinued.
Thank you for reading!

I think if you google "tempurpedic mattress" you will get lots of hits. I have a pillow made by them and it is a great pillow for me to use with my Quattro Air! No need for me to get a special pillow to accommodate the mask.

Now using AirFit F10 mask; Quattro Air is backup mask. RemZzzz mask liners with both.
Re: Old Style Non-Temperature Sensetive Memory Foam?
We had a Sleep Number bed for eight years. The only thing we liked about it was that my wife couldn't feel me tossing and turning on the other side of the bed. We didn't feel it was comfortable, however. Lately she has had some back problems and we ended up getting a Tempurpedic mattress and pillows. Not cheap but the most comfortable I can remember being in a bed in years. A recent Consumer Reports claims the much cheaper Costco memory foam mattress is a better buy but I don't think so. Costco's foam mattress is one thick hunk of memory foam. The Tempurpedic is made up of a number of different layers (one reason they don't get as hot in the summer). The Tempurpedic is hard if the room is cold but that goes away quick when you lay on it and they tell you is takes several months to break in the mattress. The only complaint we had was that the Tempurpedic doesn't isolate the movement of the sleepers as well as the Sleep Number mattress did. We solved that by swapping our king Tempurpedic for two "extended twin" mattresses and put them side-by-side using King sheets and blankets. That way I can roll to my heart's content without bothering my partner. The mattress plus my CPAP have made my life a lot more pleasant.

Re: Old Style Non-Temperature Sensetive Memory Foam?
Sealy also sells memory foam mattresses --way lower price, quality, your call.
Memory foam is by definition temperature sensitive,
but the degree may depend on brand, model, or ambient temperature.
Think; the mattress you liked was stiff until you lay on it awhile.
Your body heat softened it. Ours is the same way--cold room, stiff as heck;
lay down a bit and it softens and we sink in.
