need_some_sleep wrote:flying.. Im feeling pretty good. Im still getting used to the machine. There are still issues with mouth breathing, as I still can't keep my nose open overnight no matter what I have tried. I called my doctor's office, and they can see me in April regarding this problem. Since I already have another regular appointment at the end of february, I just decided to not try to get in earlier and just wait. Hell, I waited years to breathe throughout the night, I guess a few weeks isn't going to cause any further damage. still trying to get my AHI down. Im in the 2-3 range. It isn't a lot, but still would like to see that ever elusive zero.
Im sticking with it. The sleep aid seems to be working well, and I haven't had any problems just yet.
Hope your nights are getting better. Swift FX caused a lot of congestion for me. Then, when I tried the Wisp, my nose would instantly shut & I couldn't breathe. But a few weeks later my doctor prescribed Flonase and together with Saline spray I was able to try the Wisp again and now it's "The Mask" for me. I have not seen that "elusive zero" as you call it but my AHI's are ususally <2.
Glad to know you're sticking with it. Keep us posted.

Tried the flonase as well. nothing but a more clogged nose.
My nights are improving, Im waking a lot less, maybe once or twice per night. Im just hoping for the days that I can feel fully fully rested, and look forward to them. Just hope I am not disappointed.

Well that's good that you're only waking up once or twice. In the beginning I was waking up almost every hour and now it's only once or twice also. I always look at the clock and go right back. I was a bit disappointed that I'm not feeling fully rested but I've read here from quite a few that it's taken them over six months so I'm hopeful. Just hang in there!
