New equipment

Post by Winter » Tue Feb 04, 2014 12:07 am

After a couple of months trialling an auto and then a fixed pressure machine I have gone ahead and bought the equipment below. I do have heated tubing too but can't seem to find the right option to show that so I've put it in additional comments. There is a series 60 option but how do I tell if that's the series I have?

Any ideas why the machine is not showing up? I selected PR system one REMstar Pro CPAP Machine with C-Flex Plus. Does that sound right?

Is your machine model the 450 or 460? The link for the 450 is broken.

PR System One Pro CPAP with CFlex...model 450 that link is broken and doesn't go to heated hose machine.
PR System One 60 Series Auto Cpap ....model 460...it has the optional heated hose. This is probably your correct choice and that link should work. If not just put it in your comments section.

So check model number to see which one exactly you have...model number is a 3 digit number on the bottom of the blower unit.
If you do have the 60 series machine with heated hose (even though its option you might not have it right now) then the humidifier choice is PR System One 60 series heated tube humidifier with heated tube (even if you don't have the heated hose right now)
This link works..as I have this humidifier.

450 machine means a 50 series machine
460 machine means a 60 series machine

I can't see a number on the bottom that looks like it might be it. There is one that says 461P, would that be it?

You have a 60 series machine
The 461 is a 460 PR System One 60 Series Pro CPAP.
not sure what the 1 means...I read once what it meant but I have forgotten...it's not a big deal though. That's why I forgot it.
So you would choose PR System One 60 Series Pro CPAP in the menu choices
and for humidifier your would choose PR SYstem one 60 series heated tube humidifier with heated tube (even if you don't have the optional heated hose) because that is the only humidifier choice that works with the 60 series machine

Thank you, yes, that is what I read a while back and was on the tip of my tongue as for country...but couldn't remember exactly. That's why I promptly forgot it I guess..not a big deal.

Winter.....you may or may not have gotten the heated hose with it as it's an option.
To know for sure...just look at the hose itself. The heated hose has a black coupling end where it attaches to the lid of the humidifier.

The non heated hoses have gray/white coupling ends on both ends.
