Excessive Water coming out of mask at night
I have the resmed swift fx for her with the heated humidity tube. Lately I've been waking up at night with an excessive amount of water being sprayed into my nose. This only happened occasionally before but now seems to be happening almost every night. I bought a fleece tube cover but is there anything else I can do to prevent this? I have my climate control set at 82.

Re: Excessive Water coming out of mask at night
The fleece tube cover is really a great idea, but I suspect your area might be experiencing a cold snap and that little slinky extension between the end of the climate line and your mask is where the condensation is occurring.
If you haven't already done this, maybe try extending the fleece covering beyond the swivel connection, more toward your mask. The first section of climate tube next to the machine won't be effected and this might prevent the rainout I suspect is happening in the uninsulated unheated connection tube to your mask.
Good luck. Hope that helps.

Thanks! It has been cold here, I'll give that a try.

Also make sure the machine's at a lower level than the mask - water will run back down to it.

If adding a bit of insulation to the short hose doesn't resolve the issue you might check out Padacheek's barrel cozy.

I got one a couple of years ago for my Swift FX and it was probably the best money I have every spent. I am still using it today...even on my Tap Pap...doesn't quite fit just perfect but it fits well enough to get the job done.
